"The Reign of Terror"

The Reign of Terror was a period of about 10 months during the French Revolution when struggles between rival factions led to mutual radicalization which took on a violent character with mass executions by the guillotine."The Reign of Terror" was just somthing made to torcher the peasants because the french didnt want the peasants to ask for democracy again.The reign or terror was basically the torcher or either getting hung or cutting your head off. The reason it was so violate was because the french wanted to scare all the peasants from ever asking for anything again.
